- CAMEO3D abstract "Continuous Automated Model EvaluatiOn (CAMEO) is a community-wide project to continuously evaluate the accuracy and reliability of various protein structure prediction services in a fully automated manner, developed by the Computational Structural Biology Group at the Swiss Institute of Bioinformatics (SIB) and the Biozentrum of the University of Basel. This is a complement to the bi-yearly CASP experiment. A summary of CAMEO results are presented at the CASP meetings. Models by several modeling servers that are evaluated by CAMEO are accessible through the Protein Model PortalCurrently, CAMEO offers blind evaluation of predicted protein structures, and ligand binding sites. In development are evaluation of protein structure model quality estimation, secondary structure prediction and prediction of accessible surface area.Any group that wants to participate in the experiment can register their web-servers, either in test mode (server name not shown in results) or in production mode.".
