It was very popular 15 years before having two state banks, a library, a homeo hospital, a veterinary hospital, a rice godown, a well-maintained school, and many agriculture-based landlords, etc.The village's agriculture depends only on the rainfall every year and its two small ponds. Due to the much-diminished rainfall in recent years farmers are not getting good crops.".
