- Chris_Loco abstract "Chris Crowhurst (Born 1st August 1985), better known by his stage name Chris Loco, is an English record producer and songwriter. After several years of DJing and learning to produce, Loco signed a publishing deal with Sony ATV in 2011 after his work with a then undiscovered Emeli Sande attracted their attention. The pair continued to work together and formed a strong creative partnership, which led to Loco co-writing and producing the track "Easier In Bed" from the deluxe edition of Sande's multi-platinum debut album "Our Version of Events". In 2012, Loco was introduced to writer / producer Fraser T. Smith, and the duo's first collaboration was on Rita Ora's top 10 single "Shine Ya Light", which Loco co-wrote and co-produced. The song was a hit, especially in Ora's hometown of Pristina, Kosovo, where the accompanying music video was filmed, and Ora's debut album "Ora" went on to achieve Platinum sales in the UK. Smith & Loco collaborated again when Smith was asked to executive produce Leona Lewis' third studio album "Glassheart". Loco co-produced 4 of the 12 tracks on the album with Smith, including first single from the album "Trouble" which peaked at number 3 in the UK Singles Chart, and "I to You", another co-write with Sande which was originally intended for Sande's own album. In 2013, Loco met a then unsigned Ella Eyre and the two began writing and recording together, along with songwriter Natalia Hajjara. One of the songs they created began to attract the attention of several major record labels, and Eyre signed with Virgin Records shortly afterwards. Loco continued throughout the year building his profile and producing / co-writing for a number of established & new acts, including Amplify Dot, Etta Bond, Wiley, French Montana and Raleigh Ritchie. A collaboration with fellow writer / producer Naughty Boy and Paloma Faith led to a cut on Tinie Tempah's second studio album "Demonstration " with the song "Lost Ones". Loco also co-wrote and produced Daley's second UK single "Broken", from his debut album Days & Nights. In 2014, Loco signed a management deal with Mimark Music, who also manage Labrinth, Etta Bond and Raf Riley, and has recently been working on new material with the likes of Emeli Sande, Kylie Minogue, Maverick Sabre, Professor Green, Elijah Blake, Say Lou Lou, Kwabs, Krept & Konan and many more.".
