In addition to the second level provision for girls and boys the school provides courses such as the Vocational Training Opportunity Scheme (VTOS), the Back to Education Initiative, and community literacy schemes.[citation needed]There is provision for Irish at second level and also as part of a training course for special needs assistants from the local primary schools.
