He has served as Chair of the Official Board of the Oak Bay Pastoral Charge of the United Church of Canada. Born on October 28, 1956 in Toronto, and raised in Montréal, David Coon graduated in Pure and Applied Sciences from CEGEP Vanier College and with a Bachelor of Science from McGill University in 1978.He and his wife Janice Harvey have two daughters, Caroline and Laura.".
