- Dungeons_&_Dragons_Computer_Labyrinth_Game abstract "The Dungeons & Dragons Computer Labyrinth Game was an electronic board game released by Mattel in 1980.This was a simple electronic board game, with a dungeon and a dragon in it. The computer places 50 walls randomly across the board, and then two players can compete head to head. Each player tries to and hinder the other's advances, while searching each room for the treasure. If a player encounters the dragon, it tears the warrior apart in only three blows. The player must find the treasure and get it back to his secret room. The game may be played in basic or advanced mode, and a player can play solitarily or against an opponent. A player can move 8 squares per turn (unless wounded, or blocked by a door or wall), and the dragon can move 1 square. In a two player game, the players can attack each other.A player moves his figurine from square to square; depending on what is in the square, an electronic sound would be triggered, allowing a player to figure out where walls were located. Another sound would indicate that the dragon's treasure hoard had been located, and between player turns, the "Dragon" sound would indicate that the dragon had moved one square. Although a dragon figurine was included, it was not possible to know exactly where the dragon was on the board; some guesswork was involved, since the dragon could not be seen, only heard. The dragon figurine was intended as an approximate "placemarker."".
