In 2006 Beijer was consecrated as one of the bishops for the Mission Province and he was the Vicar of St. Stephen’s Koinonia in Stockholm until spring 2010. Bishop Beijer belongs to the Catholic movement of the Church of Sweden and his motto is "Gaudete in Domino semper", roughly translated as "Rejoice in the Lord always".".
