Thesuperintendent of the non-stop train had beensuspended and a five-memberteam had been formed toinvestigate the incident. The team later arrived at theconclusion that those involvedwere bedroll attendants andnot private catering staffengaged by the Indian RailwayCatering and TourismCorporation(IRCTC). The report, which hasbeen sent to the RailwayBoard, also notes the fact thatthere was no escort party onthe train. In fact, there is noprovision to depute securitypersonnel on the DurontoExpress trains.".
