- Jan_Boklöv abstract "Jan Mauritz Boklöv (born April 14, 1966, in Koskullskulle, part of Gällivare, Sweden) is one of the most successful Swedish ski jumpers of all time, probably only rivaled by Sven Selånger. He won the World Cup in 1988/89, and dominated the Swedish championships in the late 1980s.He is best known as the pioneer of the V-style. Boklöv competed in two Winter Olympics, finishing seventh in the team large hill event at Calgary in 1988 and 47th in the individual normal hill at Albertville in 1992.
