He was formerly a VJ starting in 2009 at MuchMusic, a music television station in Canada. Jesse studied at Langley Secondary School but left shortly after graduating. He then moved to San Clemente California before settling in Sacramento California for a time. Later Jesse moved back to Langley and started The Basement Venue promoting, emceeing and hosting All-Age concerts. Jesse co-hosted the 2012 MuchMusic Video Awards with LMFAO and in 2011 with Selena Gomez. As a musician, he has played with indie bands such as Swingset Champion and We Shot the Moon. Jesse finished his upcoming solo album with producer Gavin Brown (Metric, Billy Talent, Three Days Grace) which he has yet to release.Jesse co-hosted The X Factor USA Pepsi Pre-show for The X Factor USA (season 2) on The X Factor USA and Pepsi.com websites.Jesse is a big supporter of Free The Children and has hosted more than 15 WeDay events across Canada in the last 3 years.
