He ran for re-election in 2009 unopposed. He has also organized groups of Azusa citizens to send care packages of items to the local service men and women serving in Iraq and organized the “Walk of Freedom", where local service men and women can have a plaque placed in front of a monument located on the south lawn of Azusa City Hall.Rocha is married to his wife Linda, with whom he has four children.".
