After Voight convinces T-Mac to stop gang members, Antonio and Erin follow the PCP front from the Latin Priests and discovers a hidden torture room with the finger that belongs to Calaca. Ruzek has Burgess go undercover in Millennium Park to have a cell phone stolen by the Latin Priests to have Jin track them. After the phone was stolen, it leads to what it appears to be a dead end. Then Ruzek's phone got stolen later on and it leads to the house they visited before and the old foster lady who has her foster kids to steal cell phones for the gang. After convincing her to cooperate, The Intelligence Unit raided the gang's headquarters and detained Calaca. But Calaca won't crack under pressure from Voight's methods, so Lexi decides to finger him in the lineup, despite the dangers ahead of her. Voight later responds to a call from his current IA contact, Stillwell, that a body of Lonnie Rodiger was found. Stillwell tells Voight that Halstead better have a good alibi for the murder since Halstead has been obsessed with getting Lonnie.".

The woman has suffered a cocaine-induced psychotic break due a balloon of cocaine hidden inside her stomach. The Intelligence Unit discovers a drug-smuggling operation involving balloons and the woman's three partners also have drug mules. After the mules are kidnapped by two drug dealers, tech expert Sheldon Jin goes through the cellphone records of the dealers and learns an EMT is in league with the dealers. Voight confronts the dealer's uncle to reveal an location and its lead reveals an disemboweled body of one of the mules. Olinsky and Ruzek go on a stakeout and see the dealers taking the other two mules. They later save the mules and arrest the dealers. Erin attempts to keep Justin out of trouble when Voight finds out about the rap sheet of one of Justin's supposed "friends".".

With Olinsky helping him analyze the timetable, Halstead learns that Lonnie's murderer was his own father, Phil, who realizes that his son is indeed a pedophile and confesses under pressure, which clears Halstead. Severide comes to Erin's apartment and they shared a brief kiss.".

After finding leads, they learn that Powell planted a bomb hidden in a van near Police Headquarters. The Intelligence Unit tracked Powell down and Voight threatens to toss him off the roof, only to relent when the bomb was disarmed. Dr. Arrata operates on Zoe using Imogene's liver since they both shared their blood type and the operation was a success.".

A sting operation is set up and the impersonators take the bait, resulting in a shootout and a car chase that leads to their arrest. Meanwhile, Halstead has Jin investigate Lonnie Rodiger and learns that he is purchasing toys, leading Halstead to suspect Lonnie is planning another sick crime. Ruzek and Burgess attend a burglary and Ruzek is nearly stabbed. Voight deals with a new IA contact who seriously mistrusts him and Detective Sumner joins Intelligence. Erin also tries to help drug-addicted Nadia get clean, but she relapses. Voight meets with Maurice, who hands Voight money and tells him that he needs a shipment of drugs coming in protected. As soon as Voight takes the cash, several police cars converge on them and Voight is cuffed and put into the back of a police car.".
