- London_Xpress abstract "London Xpress was originally an underground club night produced by Nuphonic Records through the 90s which grew from a monthly London gig into a touring festival showcase, and then a weekly radio show on London's Xfm.In February 2000, Capital Radio owned Xfm asked Sav Remzi of Nuphonic to produce a cutting edge radio program to spearhead the station's new drive towards dance audiences. By recruiting the talents of established artists and producers, and giving them a one-off show of their own, London Xpress instantly achieved critical acclaim and successfully introduced the then 'Rock' based station into a credible dance 'cross-over' acceptance. Each show was totally unique in its presentation, in that every host tempted the listeners with their own musical knowledge and style without any restriction, even trailers and idents were custom produced by each host, thus enabling 2-hours of limitless musical indulgence from artists across the broadest range of musical genres. The show was decommissioned in 2002 once Xfm had established its own in-house dance show productions, and is no longer on air.".
