The other officers were Alfred Carp, secretary; Irvin Segal, treasurer; Jack Wolgin, vice president; Max Falik, vice president; and Harold Landesberg, vice president.Designed by the notable father & son team of Bill and Dave Gordon [2] the Championship Course was built on open and very gently rolling land, where cattle and horses had grazed for years. In the mid-90s the Maryland-based firm of Ault, Clark and Associates would be brought in to make extensive changes to the Gordon layout. Seven new holes would be created then, a number of others would be revised. In recent years even more changes have been made to the course to create a challenging and visually enjoyable experience.In 2007 The Championship Course was utilized as a qualifying venue for the U.S. Amateur. In June 2007 Meadowlands Country Club also became the first private country club in the United States to open itself up to military families in appreciation for their service to this nation. The local Supervisors of Whitpain Township declared Monday, June 18 Armed Forces Appreciation Day in Whitpain Township.[3] Meadowlands Country Club invited local service people who served in Afghanistan and Iraq and their families to use the club's recreational facilities that day. Club members served as caddies and served food to these guests in appreciation for their service to our country. In 2004 Meadowlands member Scott Ehrlich def. Michael Tash (Tavistock CC) 5&4 at Philadelphia Cricket Club (Militia Hill) for the Philadelphia Amateur Championship. This championship has been won over the years by many notable men such as; J. Wood Platt, Bill Hyndman, Jay Sigel, O. Gordon Brewer, Jr. and George Marucci, Jr. Many of these players have gone on to fine amateur and professional careers in golf. To that end Scott Ehrlich has earned his way onto the Hooters NGA Tour and will try to earn his way as a professional.".
