His drama "The Harmfulness of Tobacco," starring Edward Fox won the Bafta Award. He made "Godsend" in 2004 starring Robert De Niro for LionsGate Films. Hamm previously directed the highly original European cult movie "The Hole" in 2001 starring Thora Birch and Keira Knightley. For "Rogue", Hamm assembled an all star team including Bafta award-winning actress Thandie Newton, Emmy-award winning cinematographer Kieran McGuigan, Oscar award-winning costume designer Angus Strathie and up and coming production designer Ricardo Spinace. He most recently produced and directed "Killing Bono", the rock 'n' roll comedy about two Irish brothers struggling to forge their path through the 1980s music scene in the shadow of their old school pals U2.
