Owing to Blyton's increaing popularity during the 1930s the magazine was renamed Enid Blyton's Sunny Stories in January 1937 and began serving as a vehicle for Blyton's books, which appeared as serials. Copies went on sale for 2 shillings.The magazine returned to its original title in 1942, and became a fortnightly publication. Blyton ceased contributing in 1952, after having edited the magazine for 26 years. The last edition of Sunny Stories appeared in February 1953.".
