- Take_Fat abstract "Take Fat is a comedy musical act who combine the music of boy band Take That, with character-based comedy. Formed in early 2009, the members perform under pastiche pseudonyms based on the real Take That: Gary Lardo (as Gary Barlow), Jason Chocolate Orange (as Jason Orange), Howard McDonalds, Mark Growin and Blobbie Williams (as Robbie Williams), played by Jules Benjamin, Darren Phillips, Mark Gibbs, Roger Roberts, and Tony James, respectively.The outfit performs largely in theatres, nightclubs and music/comedy venues.They gained some notoriety in July 2010, when filming a TV show at Elstree Studios, Hertfordshire, after being overheard threatening to break into the Big Brother house to perform to the house-mates.
