Various accolades followed in the form of criticʼs awards and goldrecords.A subsequent and decisive long term association with the creative music label CMP resulted in yetmore recognition and awards, but more importantly led to the widely shared perception thatWalter Quintus had set a new industry standard through technical mastery as well a highlysensitive way of working with recording artists.In many all-night sessions with Jazz pianist Joachim Kühn he developed the DigitalSoundboard, which enables him to interact artistically and live into music, beyondengineering.This challenging way of making music premiered in the ballet-production from Americancontemporary dance choreographer/performer Carolyn Carlson on Broadway/N.Y ("TimeExposure") and in Theatre de la Ville/Paris ("Dark"). He also made the music for one of her balletpieces when she was director of the Dance sector of the Venice Biennale(Biennale Danza/Venice, Italy) from 1999 to 2002.Various concerts and productions with different musicians followed up.Walter Quintus is collaborating with a diverse assortment of some of the greatest musicians fromthe world's musical cultures.
