They are grouped into five broad categories - history, literature, philosophy and religion, politics and economics, and sociology - and address such topics as rethinking popular culture in 1930s Korea, women's literature in the Choson period, early Western studies of Korean religions, North Korean foreign policy, and ethnic identity and community involvement of young Korean-Americans.
