- catalog description "Bertha May (Robinson) Beach was born in Lawrence, Mass., the daughter of Eva and Joshua Robinson, a master weaver at the Pacific Woolen Mill. She attended Howard Seminary in West Bridgewater, Mass. (1899-1900). In 1908 she married Frank Ambrose Beach (1871-1935), and in 1911 they moved to Emporia, Kansas, where her husband taught at Kansas State Normal School and she worked as a drama coach. They had three children. In the 1940s Robinson moved to Los Angeles to be near her family. She died in Boulder, Co., in 1966.".
