Includes greetings from French municipalities (1919) containing expressions of appreciation and gratitude to the U.S. and to Pershing; notebooks documenting his student years at the United States Military Academy, West Point, N.Y.; material pertaining to his goodwill tours of Europe and Latin America; drafts of Pershing's book titled My Experiences in the World War (1931) and his unpublished memoirs; and family papers including correspondence and diaries of Pershing's wife, Helen F.
