This paper recommends an alternative way for storing RDF data using quadruple table and pivot query which has not only the advantages of better query performance than triple self-joins and on par with column-based queries, but also has performance advantages on insert, update, and delete operations equivalent to row-based queries. The paper contains per-formance benchmark tests to support the improved performance of quadruple table and pivot query approach. Detailed methods for translating RDF queries into SQL scripts using quadruple table pivot queries and relationship view with meta data captured from the RDF schema or data are also presented. Addition-ally, different measures of overall effectiveness on SQL script generation, mate-rialized views and indirect property maintenance, and indexes creation using the recommended approach are discussed.".
