- aggregation title "Coordination of cell division, cell differentiation, and endoreduplication in Arabidopsis thaliana".
- aggregation abstract "For correct plant development, cell proliferation needs to be integrated with growth and differentiation. Although many regulators involved in cell-cycle control, including cyclin-dependent kinases (CDKs) and their regulatory subunits, have been extensively studied during the years, the mechanisms that link cell proliferation with the growth and differentiation of post-mitotic cells remain less clear. In many plant species, exit from the mitotic cell cycle is accompanied by the onset of endoreduplication. The molecular mechanisms controlling cell cycle exit and endocycle onset remain still unclear. To identify endoreduplication controlling genes, in one hand we performed a genome-wide analysis of three different mutant lines CDKB1;1DN, KRP2OE and the E2Fe/DEL1OE in which the timing of the cell cycle exit is disturbed . In second hand, tissue-specific nuclear sorting technique that allows us to separate and to sort the different DNA ploidy classes of cortex fluorescence nuclei via simultaneous biparametric analysis followed by genome-wide analysis of nuclear RNA was used. This two approaches results into a set of genes whose transcript levels correlated with the endocycle onset and DNA ploidy content.".
